REAP Church mission statement represents the essence of our ministry and the heartbeat of our congregations:

  • Sharing the life, truth and love of Jesus Christ.
  • Training disciple of God so that they can testify God’s truth actively.
  • Preparing the people of Christ who love God to be mature and ready to be the bride of Christ, so they can actively preach the truth of God’s great deeds.
  • Empowering the people of God to grow in their knowledge of Him so that they respect and accept one another and behold God’s glory together.
  • Bringing the church into an intimate and personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.
  • Supporting mission activities and outreach programs for underprivileged and the third world to show the love of God to the world.

What We Believe

REAP Church’s Essential Faith Doctrines are 16 Bible-based statements that serve to explain our beliefs and values as a Christian ministry, bringing clarity and unity to this family of worshippers.

  1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of Holy Spirit. The Bible are infallible, inerrant, sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21, Mark 13:31; John 8:21; 1 Corinthians 2:13).
  2. We believe in God Trinity (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
  3. We believe in Father Almighty, the Creator of all things, the Provider, who calls His people to live in obedience and communion with Him (Genesis 35:11; Genesis 22:14; Isaiah 40:28).
  4. We believe in Jesus Christ, the only Saviour, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was truthfully God that takes on human form (Luke 1: 26-35; John 1: 14-16; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9: 6).
  5. We believe in Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, sent to dwell in the believers to guide, to teach and to empower till eternity. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 14: 16-17; John 16: 8-14).
  6. We believe in salvation that Jesus Christ died for our sins. He was buried, resurrected on the third day, appeared Himself to His disciples personally, and ascended to heaven to prepare a place for those who believe in His name (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, Romans 4:25; John 14:2-3).
  7. We believe in blood of Christ Jesus that was shed on the cross is holy and sufficient to cleanse all mankind from sin (Hebrews 10:19; 1 John 1:7).
  8. We believe in repentance that the believer shall receive strength for having a holy life, fruitful service, and ability to separate himself from sin and the world. This fulfilment will occur thru the work and help of Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2: 8-9; John 1: 12-13; Hebrews 9: 12,22; Romans 5:11).
  9. We believe in baptism of Holy Spirit as a real post-salvation experience, with the scriptural evidence, namely speaking in tongues as what the Spirit gives us to speak. (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-45; Galatians 3:14-15).
  10. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to keep commandment of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-36; 19:1-6).
  11. We believe in the manifestation of Holy Spirit and His gifts (Acts 2:1-12; 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 14; 2 Corinthians 3:8, 17).
  12. We believe in miracle healing at human body by divine power in its varied aspects, as it was happened in the first Church (Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14).
  13. We believe in the Holy Communion. Thru these activity we eat bread and drink wine to remember Jesus has sacrificed at the Cross. (1 Corinthians 11:23-32; Matthew 26:26-28).
  14. We believe in the law of sowing and harvesting for which anyone should make an offering with a grateful heart. The offering covers general contribution, firstfruits, tithe and special offering for certain occasion. (Deuteronomy 15:10, Leviticus 1:2; 2 Chronicles 31:5, Genesis 14:20; Malachi 3:8,10; and Leviticus 22:21)
  15. We believe in a great commission that we must bring the Gospel to world and preach it boldly to all nations. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Acts 4:31).
  16. We believe in the second coming that Jesus will come to earth for the second time to retrieve His Church (John 14:2,3 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
